LA Sports & Entertainment Procurement Summit 2025

LA Sports & Entertainment Procurement Summit 2025

On Thursday, October 23, 2025, the Los Angeles Convention Center welcomed more than 1,600 local businesses and entrepreneurs for the second annual LA Sports & Entertainment Procurement Summit, hosted in partnership with Mayor Karen Bass’ Office. Designed to empower and inform small businesses, the summit provided a full day of learning, networking, and access to resources that will help position local vendors for major upcoming opportunities in the region. With Los Angeles preparing to host global events—including the Super Bowl, FIFA World Cup–style soccer tournament, and the 2028 Olympic & Paralympic Games—the summit served as a centralized hub for education on how to get involved, navigate procurement pathways, and compete for contracts tied to these milestone events.

Attendees participated in one-on-one vendor meetings, visited informational booths, and connected directly with representatives from business support programs, major event organizations, and City-led initiatives. A robust main-stage program featured panels, back-to-back presentations, and conversations with regional leaders, including a featured discussion between Mayor Karen Bass and LA28 CEO Reynold Hoover. Throughout the day, speakers reinforced the shared commitment to ensuring that small and diverse Los Angeles businesses are not only included in future opportunities, but meaningfully positioned to benefit from the economic wave ahead.

The summit was made possible by presenting sponsor BMO and supported through partnerships with LA28, AEG, the Los Angeles Sports & Entertainment Commission, and additional public and private sector collaborators. As noted by Mayor Bass, “Our second annual summit drew even more attendees than last year, a sign that business owners are interested and ready to access these programs and services.” That momentum reflects the growing awareness and excitement throughout the business community as Los Angeles enters a decade of unprecedented visibility, tourism, and investment.

For Zynger Events, it was an honor to support the production of this impactful event and contribute to an experience focused on strengthening local business ecosystems and future-focused economic opportunity. The energy and engagement throughout the day reflected a strong sense of collaboration and readiness. As Los Angeles prepares to welcome the world, the Procurement Summit continues to play a key role in ensuring that Angelenos—and the small businesses that power this city—benefit for years to come.
