As the hot Los Angeles weather cools and the air begins to feel crisp, we find ourselves in the middle of another holiday season – a time for gratitude and reflection. And we can’t help but reflect on a fabulous year of diverse events and gainful occasions. Zynger Event Designs has had the incredible honor and privilege of working with some innovative, creative and well-established organizations. From outdoor galas for thousands of guests, educational and professional summits for people all across the world, to intimate dinners and holiday celebrations, Zynger Event Designs has had one spectacular year!
From the Australian Tourism Summit to a tasting tour of Venice, Zynger Event Designs has run the production gamut over the last 12 months. This past year has seen, among others, the creation, organization and execution of some fabulous silent auctions, the coordination of large tasting events, and many, many fabulous nights to remember.
Tourism Australia
In 2013, Zynger Event Designs produced the annual summit designed to showcase Australian business, innovation, tourism and government policy in the United States. As well has the production off all audio/visual, venue, specialty food and registration needs. The event culminated with a star-studded black tie gala.
Equality California
As the largest statewide LGBT advocacy organization in California, Equality California is deeply rooted in the community and an active advocate no matter the political climate. Zynger Event Designs produces all five awards celebrations in Los Angeles, San Francisco, San Diego, Palm Springs and Sacramento. Zynger Event Designs has worked closely with high ranking elected officials and members of the government to plan elaborate and entertaining ceremonies across the state of California. This year to name a few, Frenchie Davis, Kimberly Caldwell, Benjamin Bratt, and California Attorney General Kamala Harris have been part of the festivities.
The Aspen Challenge
Zynger Event Designs was excited to help bring The Aspen Challenge to Los Angeles this year! The event involved 33 LAUSD schools and two days filled with presentations, performances, an evening reception under the Endevour Space Shuttle at the California Science Center, and a discussion with music sensations John Legend. The entire “challenge” took place over the course of the last year, with several additional events in various locations all coordinated by Zynger Event Designs.
Boys & Girls Clubs, LA Alliance
With the help of some hard-hitting sponsors like Disney, NBC and Toyota, the Boys and Girls Club has worked with Zynger Event Designs on several events over the last year. From the extravagant Youth of the Year Awards ceremony to taking over the UCLA campus with over 1000 kids for their Teen Summit, Zynger Event Designs has helped this iconic organization raise funds for their impressive cause and execute exciting and innovative events. With many working components, sponsors, and high profile participants, the Boys and Girls Club events allow Zynger Event Designs to really flex some production muscle.
OUTFEST
Outfest is the leading organization that promotes LGBT equality by creating, sharing and protecting LGBT stories on the screen. With events throughout the year, Zynger Event Designs has produced some fabulous soirees, including the opening gala for the Outfest Film Festival at the Orpheum theatre. Through the coordination of over 20 different restaurants, dessert and specialty vendors including Tom Colicchio’s Craft, this outdoor event for over 2000 people is one of the few permitted to take place in the historic downtown Los Angeles.
Zynger Event Designs has also produced many additional events for some outstanding nonprofit organizations, including The Spark Program, Pregnancy Awareness Month, Break The Cycle, Prototypes, The Israel Conference, The Palm Springs Gay & Lesbian Center and Taste of Venice. Zynger Event Designs has also planned some phenomenal corporate and industry fêtes for Westmount Financial Management and Margarita Mix.
