We’re Hiring for a Full-Time Event Manager

We are looking for a full time Event Manager to join our team to focus on servicing our clients to meet and exceed set expectations for their events. The successful candidate will be in a position to grow with the company and take on more responsibilities to both expand on their professional experience and strive
for additional financial gains. This is a full time salaried position, with benefits after a 3-month probationary period.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
The event manager will be responsible for managing events through all project phases from proposal to delivery. Events will be delivered on time, on budget, and must meet (and hopefully exceed) expectations. The selected candidate will be able to maintain detailed timelines, and manage the priorities of every project, including the overseeing of event layouts, contract negotiations with vendors and the creation of load in and load out timelines.

They will excel at communicating, maintaining and developing client relations. The event manager will assist in the management of operational and administrative functions to ensure that projects are delivered efficiently. They will provide leadership,motivation, direction and support to other members of the team. The position includes travelling to site for site inspections and managing event/being responsible for events from start to finish. Ensuring excellent customer service and high quality delivery.

EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE
• College degree, or equivalent experience required
• 2-4 years of industry experience preferred
• Must have the ability to prioritize multiple projects in a fast-paced,
multifaceted, creative environment and must be able to work well under
pressure.

Meticulous organizational abilities and concise and effective verbal and written communication are required:
• Ability to adapt to challenges and opportunities with a solution-oriented perspective
• Interact with clients and industry professionals
• Strong team player
• Registration experience in the meeting industry required
• Computer skills required: Microsoft Office Suite, MAC Based calendar,
email, etc.

PHYSICAL DEMANDS
The Event Manager will occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 pounds and be must able to stand for long periods of time. A valid driver’s license and transportation are a necessity.

WORK ENVIRONMENT
The Event Manager will be based primarily in the home office of Zynger Event Designs in Hollywood, California. Street parking is available.

HOURS: 9:00AM TO 5:00PM Monday to Friday Weekends and evenings as needed
SALARY: $37,000 – $42,000 DOE + Benefits (after 3 months) + BONUS
